Fatima Bint Mubarak Forum for Motherhood and Childhood

The Fatima Bint Mubarak Forum for Motherhood and Childhood, organized by the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, will be held at the Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi, November 20, in the presence of kings and heads of state, policy makers, specialists, civil society organizations, United Nations agencies and about 300 representatives from federal and local government bodies, as well as motherhood and childhood councils from Arab countries. .



Held under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak, President of the General Women's Union, the Supreme President of the Family Development Foundation, the President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, is celebrating the International Children's Day and the Emirates Innovation Week - on creativity in early childhood development.



The opening ceremony will begin with an opening speech by Her Highness Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak, a speech by Queen Sylvia of Sweden and a speech by UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon. The event will also be attended by Her Highness Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak and Dr. Louay Shabana, UNFPA Director for the Arab Region.



HE Al Reem Abdullah Al Falasi, Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, said: "The Fatima Bint Mubarak Forum for Motherhood and Childhood aims to discuss and incorporate innovation in education on the education agenda locally and internationally.



She explained that the Forum will contribute to the review and discussion of innovative skills in the growth in early stages of the child and shed light on the role of parents and schools and specialists in enriching the development of children and develop their experiences



The Forum also highlights the great efforts of the UAE's wise leadership in developing the education sector since the Federation's establishment to date and the announcement of the Fatima Bint Mubarak Award for Motherhood and Childhood.



Al-Falasi explained that the one-day forum will intensify its sessions to discuss three main themes during panel discussions with 3 speakers.



The Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood stressed the Council's keenness to instill the values ​​of dialogue among children and encourage them to participate in public life and contribute effectively to issues of concern to them.



She pointed out that the second session of the first axis entitled "Education in the UAE between the past and the present ... the fruit of the achievements of grandparents" will include three speakers, HE Sheikha Lubna Bint Khalid Al Qasimi, Minister of State for Tolerance and HE Shama Bint Suhail bin Faris Al Mazroui, Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Dr. Ali Rashid Al Nuaimi, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Education Council and chaired by Dr. Zaki Nusseibeh, Assistant Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and Cultural Advisor at the Ministry of Presidential Affairs.
