Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak: The leadership of the state pays great attention to women and children

Her Highness Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak, President of the General Women's Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, welcomed the adoption of the National Strategy for Motherhood and Childhood by the Council of Ministers and the Strategic Plan to Promote the Rights of Children with Disabilities 2017-2021.



HH Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and their brothers, Rulers of the UAE, Emirati women and children.



She explained that the rapid response by the State, by adopting the National Strategy for Motherhood and Childhood and the Strategic Plan for the Promotion of the Rights of Children with Disabilities, demonstrates the State's interest in these two important groups in society and the need to open the way for them to move towards the future with confidence and capability. She praised the efforts made by the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood in preparing these strategies, in cooperation with the UNICEF office of the Arab Gulf States, as a key reference for decision makers in the field of childhood in the UAE and a major contribution to building an environment in which the capacities of children and adolescents thrive.



She also praised the role of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood in coordinating between the federal and local authorities in the country in matters related to issues of women and children, being the umbrella that sponsors its affairs in the country.



She also called on Emirati women and children to take care of the implementation of the strategy and plan for children with disabilities and apply them to the state, which does not spare them anything and provides them with everything they desire.
