Sheikha Fatima: leadership takes the educational process of all attention

Her Highness Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak, President of the General Women's Union, the Supreme President of the Family Development Foundation, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood & Childhood, confirmed that the wise leadership takes all the attention and follows the footsteps of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Who has spared no effort to support science and learners.

In her speech, Rym Al Falasy, Secretary General of the Council, said that the State has harnessed all its support for education and put its programs to the highest levels. The program, which lasted about two years, targeted our students, principals, school principals, mentors, academic mentors and nurses, the first of its kind in the Arab world, for its great importance in preserving our children, learning good behaviors and distancing them from their educational process. In all its forms. It was designed after reviewing 13 successful international programs, which fit the UAE.

She said: Bullying is a negative phenomenon familiar to schoolchildren, and has serious effects on the health of bullying, victims and spectators, both present and future, including loss of guilt and anxiety, loss of self-confidence, and the incidence of chronic diseases in the future, and increase the aggression of victims and low Scientific level, prevention of bullying ensures the right of the child to education and protection from all

Forms of violence, according to the Convention on the Rights of the Child and the vision of the UAE 2021, and the National Strategy for Motherhood & Childhood through which the Council works.





The evaluation by the Council and UNICEF at the end of the last school year of the schools covered by the program showed the effectiveness of the project, showing a decrease in bullying cases in the evaluation results. Therefore, those who participated in its implementation in sixty-four schools in the country, deserve recognition, especially after the encouraging results shown by the application of the program, where the number of students who are exposed to bullying, and increased cases of positive social relations.





"Protecting children from violence in schools, including bullying, is not just a moral duty or an overriding goal of regulations and policies," said Jamila al-Muhairi. "It is a question that goes beyond that. Of our schools that need to bridge the gap and show empathy and build a culture of respect for children's rights and intolerance of bullying.

She called for increased awareness among adults, including parents, mothers, caregivers and teachers who may not be able to identify bullying, and view it as a transient child phenomenon; they need advice on bullying remarks and how to confront them.





She said: "We want UAE schools free from all forms of bullying and to be a model for the countries of the world. Rym Al Falasy, Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Motherhood & Childhood, confirmed that the program of prevention of bullying carried out by the Council in cooperation with UNICEF was very successful thanks to the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak, President of the General Women's Union.





"It is the first of its kind in the Arab world. We conducted a study two years ago and 13 programs were reviewed on this subject," she said in a statement to the Emirates News Agency (WAM) The program was implemented in 64 public and private schools from the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and the other emirates where the aim was to create a healthy and healthy learning environment.
