My Child’s Seat is an initiative by the Supreme Council for Motherhood & Childhood, and as part of the campaign’s activities the council launched an educational competition in its social media platform.

The competition focuses on asking educational questions for the community, specially parents and drivers about the seat reserved for children in the vehicle, which drivers are obligated to use while accompanying children.

The competition prizes include a set of car seats for children to encourage families into acquiring it.

H.E Rym bint Abdullah Al Falasy, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Motherhood & Childhood, said that this competition contributes to spreading awareness in society and encouraging individuals to make optimal use of car seats for children, which represent a lifeline for them in the event of accidents and to avoid the occurrence of any kind of severe injuries, stressing the importance and necessity of awareness and guidance on the matter and to adhere in following the laws set by the UAE government to protect children.
