The Supreme Council for Motherhood & Childhood organizes a blood donation campaign

A blood donation campaign was organized in front of the Council's headquarters in Abu Dhabi between the Supreme Council for Motherhood & Childhood, and the Blood Bank of the Abu Dhabi Health Services Company – SEHA, as part of the social responsibility initiatives.


The Council’s employees and residents of the adjacent buildings were the targeted group; its aim is to educate the community about the importance of donating blood.


The campaign, was carried out in a dedicated blood bank vehicle that took the best standards and preventive measures to limit the spread of the Covid 19 pandemic among donors.


On this occasion, H.E Rym bint Abdullah Al Falasy, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Motherhood & Childhood, said that this initiative is implemented by the Council on an annual basis with Seha, to support blood supply, indicating the success of this campaign came as a result of the noble humanitarian values and principles that it exhibits Emirati society, both citizens and residents.


“Such initiatives are considered an essential element that contributes to increasing community cohesion, spreading the spirit of solidarity and synergy, and instilling charitable work in the conscience of employees and volunteers.”  The Secretary General added.
