The Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood organizes “Yoga for Kids” Program

The Supreme Council for Motherhood & Childhood organizes “Yoga for Kids” Program for two days at Mushref Central Park in Abu Dhabi under the direct supervision of the coach, Natalie Hilden, in presence of a number of mothers, teachers and children. Day one of this program was dedicated to mothers so that they can be trained on how their children can learn such a sport skill and come to know about its importance for both children and adults as well. In the following day, it has been dedicated for both mothers and children.

The Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Motherhood & Childhood, H. E. Rym Al Falasy, has stressed the importance of the Council’s commitment to holding such training workshops and programs, which are conducted by experts and professionals. The goal of doing that is to help both mothers and children to exercise healthy habits that could be positively reflected upon their life. One more objective of doing that is to get children with special needs involved with their normal peers, which could have a great positive impact on reinforcing self-confidence and enabling them to acquire new skills.

The Supreme Council for Motherhood & Childhood organizes such programs because studies prove that Yoga physical activity helps children get rid of tension and stress, boost self-confidence, feel happy and help positive thinking, memorize information and increase awareness. By so doing, children could have the ability to plan their life better.
