“Little Volunteer”

 

 

Based on the directives of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, President of the General Women's Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood & Childhood, Supreme Chair of the Family Development Foundation, the Council launched this initiative to engage all age groups from the community to develop the spirit of volunteering, which is characterized by the Emirati people. Who present an innovative and distinctive model for volunteer work and humanitarian giving at the local and global levels, and are able to reach their humanitarian message to millions of people under a volunteer framework and a humanitarian umbrella.

Volunteerism is a symbol of progress and prosperity of the nation and an important phenomenon to indicate the vitality of people’s engagement in the rapid developments. In addition to being a religious and patriotic duty, “And whoever volunteers good – it is better for him” (Holy Qur’an).

 

The fields that the volunteer would like to participate in are:
  • Social Media
  • Graphic Design
  • Videography
  • Photographer
  • Various activities for adults and children

 

Goal: Refining the capabilities of community members in volunteering, providing opportunities for cooperation, that strengthens respect and tolerance of others, appreciation on the act of giving, and an increases in national cohesion.

 

Accepting volunteers from 4 years old.
